300’000 € collected via crowdfunding plattform www.greenvesting.com
The third tranche of the successful crowdfunding project “Solar Drip Irrigation in Morocco” has been funded. The funding target of € 300,000 was reached today.
19 of the up to 50 planned projects have already been installed and put into operation. The solar power systems are financed through hire purchase. The systems remain property of the operating company Solar Future S.A.R.L Morocco until they are fully paid by the farmers.
The project is supported by the climate protection organization Atmosfair with an additional 150,000 €. Atmosfair collects this money as donations, which are donated by private individuals and companies to offset CO2 emissions and to promote climate protection projects
By 2024, up to 350 solar power systems for solar drip irrigation are to be built in cooperation with the crowdfunding platform GreenVesting and Atmosfair.
