We proudly present today our exciting new project on the GreenVesting crowdfunding platform: 60 additional solar power installations for drip irrigation shall be installed with the help of the GreenVesting crowd investors and the climat protection organization Atmosfair (www.atmosfair.de).

The project is being offered by our companies SolarFuture Maghreb and and Solar Futur S.A.R.L. in Maroc and is already the fifth tranche. The companies have already successfully founded four tranches in recent years and have successfully installed over 150 drip irrigation systems to date. The latest tranche involves the acquisition of a further 60 solar power systems to replace the diesel and gas engines previously used. Find out more about funding here:

Morocco tranche 4 online since 9.4.21

Funding for tranche 4 started on 9.4.21. The customers accepted the project very well. After just 3 days € 84 thousand was funded, and after 10 days almost half of the funding amount (€ 145 thousand). Currently 2/3 of the funding sum have already been reached.

The last plants from tranche 3 will be installed this month. For tranche 4, there are already expressions of interest from 30 customers in the Drâa-Tafilalet region.

The gold standard CO2 certification of the project by the climate protection organization Atmosfair is progressing. As part of the mandatory stakeholder consultation, 60 stakeholders from the areas of Local People, Local Policy Makers, National Government, Local NGOs, Gold Standard Representatives and relevant international NGOs were written to at the end of April and asked to give their comments on the project.

The first payment from Atmosfair for tranche 4 was made today, so that construction of the systems from the new tranche can begin in June.

300’000 € collected via crowdfunding plattform www.greenvesting.com

The third tranche of the successful crowdfunding project “Solar Drip Irrigation in Morocco” has been funded. The funding target of € 300,000 was reached today.

19 of the up to 50 planned projects have already been installed and put into operation. The solar power systems are financed through hire purchase. The systems remain property of the operating company Solar Future S.A.R.L Morocco until they are fully paid by the farmers.

The project is supported by the climate protection organization Atmosfair with an additional 150,000 €. Atmosfair collects this money as donations, which are donated by private individuals and companies to offset CO2 emissions and to promote climate protection projects

By 2024, up to 350 solar power systems for solar drip irrigation are to be built in cooperation with the crowdfunding platform GreenVesting and Atmosfair.
